Archived Audio: Student Produced Radio Plays

What a Day!

Josh awakes from a particularly wonderful dream involving a rogue of a pirate and his one true love only to discover that he is late for school. He quickly, and clumsily, heads out the door on his way to school. Along the way he will storm the beaches of Normandy, accuse an unsuspecting janitor of a conspiracy plot, and ultimately end up face to face with the girl of his dreams. Did I mention that Josh has a very active imagination?  This play was written by myself, Mr. Altermott, and recorded by students in my 2006-2007 Block class.

  • The Forgotten Island (Part 1): An Alfred Hitchcock short story.  Two young teens find themselves on a strange island.
  • Idun’s Golden Apples: Thaizi has stolen Idun and her golden apples, the source of the Gods eternal youth.  Can Loki rescue her and save the gods of Asguard?  Based on a Viking legend.
  • In Your Hat: A young man who puts off a book report finds himself under pressure to finish it in time.  His crush offers to help him, but are her intentions honorable?
