"North Stars… on the Web"

Student Produced Radio Plays

What a Day!

Josh awakes from a particularly wonderful dream involving a rogue of a pirate and his one true love only to discover that he is late for school. He quickly, and clumsily, heads out the door on his way to school. Along the way he will storm the beaches of Normandy, accuse an unsuspecting janitor of a conspiracy plot, and ultimately end up face to face with the girl of his dreams. Did I mention that Josh has a very active imagination?  This play was written by myself, Mr. Altermott, and recorded by students in my 2006-2007 Block class.

A Night On Bear Mountain”
from WKID: Easy Radio Plays by Carol Adorjan and Yuri Rasovsky

“A Night on Bear Mountain” was recorded by students from my 7th grade block class (Reading and Language Arts) during the 2005-2006 school year. Written in the style of a classic mystery/suspense program from radio’s golden age, the story tells about a young girl named Cindy and her experiences babysitting an imaginative child named Ira.
